Many cranes

Origami cranes. Many. It started out of a "performance art" thing me and a couple of friends did in DC during th Cherry Blossom Festival. We just made a bunch of origami cranes and hung them up in the trees. Then we saw people taking pictures with our stuff. Seemed funny" a photo with the Washington monument, a photo with the cherry tree and a photo with **the** crane. Almost a thousand cranes later I think I know why I was making them and what I got in return, but that is another story.

One of the first...

Here is how this started to be serious. No time during exams, right? Wrong. This is a Friday night - to Saturday morning effort, the night shot is on Friday. Pink paper was donated by the Center for Fluorescence Spectroscopy at the University of Maryland.

And these are my attempts to publicize the event.
Obviously, it being exam season, I went around in proud loneliness. That was probably the idea in the first place.
